– CHAPTER INTRODUCTION –
IEEE SMC Beijing Capital Region Chapter was founded in 2006, initiated and led by Prof. Zhichun Mu from University of Science and Technology Beijing. He became the first chairman of the chapter (2006-2017). The successive chairman of the chapter is Prof. Wei He from University of Science and Technology Beijing (2018- ). Prof. Zhijun Li from University of Science and Technology of China and Prof. Kaixiang Peng from University of Science and Technology Beijing are elected as the vice-chairmen.
